There’s nothing to see here: As you've probably guessed, I'm a high school science teacher. Specifically I was hired to teach Chemistry. I currently teach at Justin-Siena High School, a private Catholic school. I've been there a total or fifteen years. If you're a soon-to-be-teacher don't sign off on private education. I know the pay is not as much as what the public folks make, but we have fewer headaches. During the summer I work at Camp Lassen a BSA summer camp. I’ve worked up there a number of years as the camps waterfront director, shooting sports director, and now camp director. My hobbies are few: Mountain biking, weightlifting, raising a few carnivorous plant, and photography. My photography leaves much to be desired, but then again, it's not my day job. |
